09.11 ANTIQUE BOAT REGATTA The Corinthian Sailing Club hosts this event, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at White Rock Lake. It features wooden boats from the 1930s-’50s.
09.12 CENTRAL 214 MOVIE NIGHT The restaurant at Hotel Palomar is hosting a series of four Sunday sunset movie nights, and the first one, Will Ferrell’s “Old School”, is this Sunday. The other three movies also are Ferrell flicks — “Blades of Glory” and “Talladega Nights” are planned for Sept. 19 and 26. The movie, which starts at about 9 p.m., is free, but no outside food or drink are allowed.
