There are a few events going on tonight, Thursday, Sept. 15: Beer & Bones at the Museum of Nature and Science, where adults get to play and drink beer in the museum. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 otherwise.  Woodfire Kirby’s has a free Blevedere Vodka tasting from 6-8 p.m. And The Secret Sisters perform at the Lakewood Theater as part of a fundraiser for the Women’s Chorus of Dallas. Tickets are $25-$50.

The Woodrow Wildcats play Seagoville High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Franklin Stadium. Woodrow is 2-1 this season after last week’s loss to North Forney.

Autumn at the Arboretum kicks off Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Dallas Arboretum and runs through Nov. 23. It features 150,000 blooming fall plants, plus “Cinderella’s Pumpkin Village — complete with her pumpkin-styled carriage awaiting fairytale photo ops.”

The arboretum also hosts the Tour de Fleurs, 10k and 20k races, Saturday morning.

The Dallas Trekkers Walking Club meets at the White Rock YMCA at 8 a.m. Saturday for a 12k or 6k walk on the Santa Fe Trail.

Deep Ellum Outdoor Market is Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

The two-day Octoberfest at St. Pius X Catholic Church is this weekend. A 5K and 1-mile stroll start at 8 a.m. Saturday. Games, food and entertainment are from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
