Sat. and Sun. May 16 and 17, School of Rock performs a Rolling Stones tribute at O’Rileys, 8989 Forest Lane. The $10, all-ages show gets started up at 2 p.m.

Sun., May 17, The White Rock East Garden Tour is FREE from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and

Lakewoodstock! featuring lots of music …

… And don’t forget that in the nearby city of Richardson, the big Wildflower! arts and music fest is all weekend long at Galatyn Park — that’s not too far to travel to see Rick Springfield and Night Ranger is it? (I mean it’s like a live version of the "awesome mix tape" from that scene in Boogie Nights where Dirk Diggler tries to scam the hairy bathrobe guy who subsequently chases him down the road with a shotgun, right?) Plus The Killdares (straight outta East Dallas), Toadies, Hoobastank, The Spazmatics, Tonic, David Wilcox and more more more.
