The Elm Street building is 26 stories and the second development in Deep Ellum by Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management and StreetLights Residential, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The building is part of an Epic mixed-use project.

The building has 310 apartments with monthly rent ranging from $1,650 to more than $5,800. Some amenities included are a fitness center, a pool deck with a view of downtown and a resident bar, according to its website.

There is also retail space attached to the building, which is 23,000 square feet, the Morning News reported.

The Hamilton opened around the same time Preservation Dallas added Deep Ellum to a list of historically endangered places. “As the district continues to be successful, there will be more pressure on the historic one- and two-story buildings to be demolished for large-scale development projects,” according to Preservation Dallas.
