In May Hobbs opened Texas Tapas at 2511 Main Street, which will host a grand opening later this month.

The restaurant serves “Texas food classics and an eclectic assortment of international plates in a tapas fashion for sharing.”

Some menu highlights are the Deep Ellum Fried Rib Eye with gravy and egg, Chicken and Waffles, Calamari Texas Style with Texas Jalapeño jelly and Deep Eddy vodka sauce, the American Dream Hot Dog nestled inside a hot glazed doughnut, and a juicy Angus Beef Waffle Burger.

The new restaurant is now open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
