The new PopUp Bagels on Henderson Avenue is expected to open on Friday, June 5.
We got wind of the Connecticut-founded brand opening back in March, alongside its next-door neighbor Salt & Straw. PopUp Bagels touts a simple menu of “unmistakably perfect bagels with no frills,” which are meant to be consumed in the “grip, rip and dip” fashion, according to its website.
To commemorate the new store, PopUp is planning to launch its Texas Jalapeño Cheddar schmear for a limited time. Salt & Straw is also expected to join in on the opening, according to a press email.
The 2323 Henderson Ave. location, between Gemma and Lip Lab, will be the second PopUp Bagels in Texas (and in Dallas, as the first was in Inwood Village) and more are expected to “pop up” in Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
