A teenager was shot in the hand Monday during a drive-by shooting in Old East Dallas, authorities said.

A black pickup opened fire around 9:30 p.m. on a group gathered near Hall Street and the 3400 block of Munger Avenue, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Both groups exchanged gunfire before the pickup drove away, according to the Morning News.

No other injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, police reported that a shooter in a black SUV shot another teen as he waited for a bus in Far East Dallas.

The shooting happened at 11:20 p.m. in front of an apartment complex in the 11500 block of Ferguson Road, according to the Morning News.

The 18-year-old was shot twice in the arm and then ran into a church across the street. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Police did not say if the shootings were connected.
