Police are searching for a female suspected of robbery at a liquor store this morning.
Around 1 a.m. an individual was robbed in the parking lot of Henderson Liquor in the 2800 block of Henderson. The victim was walking through the parking lot with a purse draped over her shoulder when a gold-colored Chevrolet Monte Carlo pulled up alongside her. The driver of the car reached out, grabbed the victims purse and drove off while the victim was still tangled in the purse strap.
The victim was “dragged by the suspect vehicle, causing injury,” according to police.
Shortly after a female suspect was captured on a security camera attempting to make a purchase with one of the victim’s stolen credit cards. The purchase was denied and the suspect left the scene in a gold Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
