As Rachel Stone reported Nov. 2, the Granada Theater will open a beer garden and restaurant Sundown at the Granada in the space next to the theater.
Renovation of the bar and a double-decker patio is already underway, and the target opening date is late 2011.
Part of the renovation will include a wall constructed of recycled scrap wood.
Owners are looking for donations of any 1-inch thick pieces of scrap wood. Stop by Sundown at Granada, 3520 Greenville Avenue, Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. to drop off donations.
