Dallas Clayton, author of “An Awesome Book” and, his latest, “An Awesome Book of Thanks“, will be in town this weekend to host a storytime and author signing at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Little Bean on Junius. (Click on the links to read the books online; I admittedly grew teary eyed while scrolling through.)
Little Bean owner Christine Visneau tells us she’ll have a cotton candy machine for the kids and champagne for the adults. Plus, parents can browse through the store’s darling new spring selections. (I couldn’t resist this little dress when I stopped in today — so cute!)
In other shop news, Visneau has changed her store hours and will now close at 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays so she can pick up her children from school. Admirable. Also, she is collaborating with two other Dallas moms on a new blog, tinydallas.com, with tips on Dallas events and finds as well as inspirational quotes and stories. Good stuff — I just added it to my blog feed.
