Friday, Oct. 22: Stallion Stampede and Carnival at Alex Sanger Elementary
The Alex Sanger Elementary School Stallions will sponsor a 1K fun run and carnival from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., Friday, October 22, at the school, 8410 San Leandro. Parents, students, staff and PTA will gather to support the event. The community is encouraged to attend. Proceeds will go toward classroom projects.

Saturday, Oct. 23 Hexter Howl Run and Carnival to Support Literacy
The fourth annual Hexter Howl 5K begins at 8:30 a.m., and the 1K fun run/walk begins at 9:30 a.m. The carnival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include game booths, bounce houses, a rock wall tower, music and food. Proceeds will go to help the school’s literacy programs.
The school is located at 9720 Waterview Rd.

Saturday, Oct. 23 Wag, Walk and Run by Lakewood Service League at 8 a.m. at White Rock Lake. What originally started as a neighborhood dog walk has evolved to include a run-your-tail-off 5k and 10k for humans and their furry friends.
