On June 15 alone there were eight Lakewood area break-ins reported around the lake, five of which happened on Lawther between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In most cases, the perpetrator smashed a window or entered an unlocked vehicle. There were break-ins reported in the 8000 block of Scout Hill and just around the corner in the 7900 block of Mockingbird.

We’ve also heard of break-ins in the 7300 block of Cornodo and at the corner of Munger and Live Oak this week as detailed in neighborhood social media posts.
