The spa, dubbed The Spa at The Highland, replaced Exhale Spa, a fitness/wellness chain with locations in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Beaver Creek, New York and more.

It has been fully renovated, according to a press release, and will offer a range of services including massages, med-spa facials and peels, nail care and waxing.

Simona Stefani will direct the spa and brings 15 years of experience in the industry. The menu and products used are medical-grade and organic. Services begin with aromatherapy and a neck and shoulder wrap. They also have a “serenity room” where complimentary tea, champagne and truffles are offered for guests.

In addition, the spa will have two fitness studios with space for yoga, barre and more.

Locker rooms, each with showers, lockers and a sauna, are stocked with toiletries for men and women.

According to a Dallas Morning News article, the building was constructed in the 1960s as the nine-story Hilton Inn. It was known for the Harper’s Corner restaurant, which offered great views of the city.

Right before it became The Highland — and the first of Hilton’s Curio Collection properties — the hotel was the Hotel Palomar. The property has been under several different owners, but in 2004, Realty America Group and Behringer Harvard Funds purchased it and transformed it into a hotel, shopping and condo complex, with a 10-story condo tower.
