We got word from the Casa Linda Estates Neighborhood Association that a guy posting fliers for a roofing business scammed a neighbor out of her pontoon boat.
A guy posting fliers for Allied Commercial Roofing of Texas approached Marge McConathy and asked to buy the boat in her driveway. She took a check for it, and it bounced. Now the guy won’t return her call, and she says her boat is for sale on Craigslist.
