The Friends of Santa Fe Trail just announced a 5k event, scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at Linsley Park.
The race will go all the way to Deep Ellum and Fair Park, and the party at Linsley Park will include music, beer and food trucks.
Register for the race online by Sept. 13, and the fee is $25. The fee goes up to $30 between Sept. 14 and Oct. 3, and it costs $35 after Oct. 4 and $40 on race day.
