Rodeo Goat is expanding to Casa Linda Plaza.

The burger place will be opening in the space that once housed Highland Park Cafeteria, which closed in May 2020 after 95 years in business. A representative of Edens, which owns the shopping center, told CultureMap the restaurant plans to open in spring 2022.

Edens divided the original 12,000-square-foot space into two, and Rodeo Goat will take the corner space, facing Losa Drive.

Rodeo Goat has locations in Fort Worth, the Design District in Dallas, Houston, Plano, Rockwall and Cypress Waters. It specializes in craft burgers and beer.

Baldo’s Ice Cream recently opened in Casa Linda Plaza, and all-day breakfast place Ellen’s is planned to open there as well.
