Margie Quintal
Margie Quintal was named 2010 Make a Difference Volunteer of the Year by Positive Promotions.
Quintal also is the DISD volunteer of the year for her work at Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School.
According to a DISD release, “She spends many hours volunteering at school events, welcoming parents at PTA meetings, helping keep the outdoor school marquee updated in all types of weather, soliciting donations for the school and many other activities.”
Quintal’s children, grandchildren and great grandchild all attended the school, but Quintal stayed on as a volunteer even thought they’ve graduated.
The school will get $250 in Quintal’s name.
