The nonprofit Dallas Pets Alive! is hosting its 11th annual Pup Crawl on Saturday, May 24 near Greenville Avenue.
The event will start at noon (though you can check in at 11 a.m.) at Truck Yard, 5624 Sears St. Tickets, which range from $30-$55 depending on if you’re drinking beer, nonalcoholic beverages or not drinking at all, get you into the crawl with a goody bag. The standard ticket comes with four Community Beer Company tickets, and the “NADA” ticket includes four non-alcoholic drink tickets. Food will also be available for purchase during the crawl. The event will end at 4 p.m.
But the Pup Crawl is not just about chugging beer and chowing down on snacks. Proceeds from the event are dedicated to saving the lives of pets in North Texas.
“We rescue and help the healthy and treatable pets at greatest risk for euthanasia at our partner shelters,” the Dallas Pets Alive! website states. “We also provide assistance and resources to pet owners having problems so significant that they need to surrender their pets to a shelter.”
