I mentioned last week that a UTD professor is using a Casa Linda Plaza storefront to study whether activities for older adults can stave off cognitive decline, and perhaps even improve brain function.

It turns out that Denise Park, the UTD T. Boone Pickens Distinguished University Chair in Clinical Brain Science, is only halfway through her study and is still looking for participants. They must be over the age of 60, have at least a 10th-grade level of education, be fully fluent in English, provide their own transportation, and be willing to commit 16 consecutive weeks of their time.
