No, this is not a pig wallowing in a mud pit. It is Porky, who is back patrolling potholes in East Dallas. This sizable crater is on Vanderbilt between Skillman and Concho, near Tietze Park.

Even on this blazing late May afternoon, there was a muddy pit at the bottom of the pothole, which is about as deep as Porky himself (he is about the size of a football). The scoop out of the street is about a yard wide and at least as long, so make sure to put your Honda CRV in four-wheel-drive before traversing this treacherous stretch of our neighborhood.

Porky is confused about how a pothole ends up this big without a crew and a jack hammer. He hopes it gets fixed before someone pops their tire or their Jack Russell terrier falls in, never to be seen again.
