Dallas Police are seeking information about a fatal shooting that took place on July 15. Eric Romero, 16, died of a gunshot wound to the head after being anonymously dropped off by a group of men at Baylor Medical Center. Police believe the shooting took place before 10:30 p.m. possibly near Woodrow Wilson High School.

Romero was a junior at Woodrow and died just one day before his 17th birthday.

This marks the second deadly shooting involving a teenager in Dallas in less than two weeks. Last night, 15-year-old Christopher Gordon was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting outside a shopping center in the Lake Highlands area. NBC 5 reports that Gordon was a freshman football player at Berkner High School. No description of the suspect or suspect vehicle has been given. Dallas police spokesperson Sherri Jeffrey says that homicide detectives are handling the investigation, and it has yet to be determined whether this was a gang-related incident.
