The big surprise, which really isn’t given how he has voted, is that Oak Cliff councilman Ed Oakley has gotten large cash from some pretty big names — real estate moguls Trammel and Harlan Crow and developer Larry Hamilton among them. And who says giving tax breaks to real estate developers doesn’t pay off?
