Here’s a chance to get a sneak peek at the most haunting house on this year’s Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour.
Organizers are throwing a party Thursday night at 4949 Swiss, the infamous home of Dallas darling Mary Ellen Bendtsen. The event, "The Sounds of Cole Porter", is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tickets are $50, and are available at Talulah Belle. They include heavy appetizers, champagne, beer, wine and bottled water.
Proceeds benefit Mi Escuelita, the Wilkinson Center and Disciples of the Holy Trinity, a nonprofit that helps terminally ill people and runs DOT’s Closet.
