Little Forest Hill residents still have nearly a month to prepare their floats, strollers, bikes, and, of course, their Uncle Sam costumes for the neighborhood’s annual 4th of July Parade. The annual parade began in 2002 after Sylvia and Scot Williams decided to celebrate July 4th in their own neighborhood.
The parade will begin its 14th year at 9 a.m. on Independence Day.
The parade will feature floats, entertainers, fire engines, classic cars, decorated strollers, wagons and bikes.
Parade participants can start lining up at 8 a.m. at the backside of White Rock United Methodist Church at 1450 Oldgate.
The parade will end at Casa Linda Park, where the celebration will continue with snacks, cold drinks and live entertainment.
