Lakewood neighbors who sign a contract with Oncor can opt to have a tree service trim their trees to within 7 feet of power lines. Oncor’s standard is 10-feet-4-inches. The contract requires a promise from the homeowner that they’ll maintain the 7-foot cut, and it releases Oncor from liability.
