Dallas Comedy House in Deep Ellum, 2645 Commerce, offers a show, dinner and champagne for just $25 per person. I know it’s not exactly in East Dallas, but it’s this closest place to get this unique deal. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show starts at 10 p.m.

The New Year’s Eve party at the Granada Theater features Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights. Buy your tix early and they’re just $19 per person. Doors open at 8 p.m. Somebody’s Darling will open (10 p.m.) Or, if your prefer an even more intimate concert/bar setting, see Bravo Max/The Roomsounds at Lakewood Bar and Grill.

Blythe Beck, a.k.a. “The Naught Chef” at Central 214 has a top-notch New Year’s Eve menu planned; it includes a five-course tasting menu with pan seared arctic char with buttered corn pudding and lobster-lemon beurre blanc and grilled filet mignon with caramelized onion, jalapeno potato hash and salsa verde.
