Neighborhood resident and long time Republican activist Tom Pauken was named Chairman of the Texas Workforce Commission.
I have known Tom for most of my adult life and whether you agree with him or not, he has a very loyal following and is a very hard worker. Tom has been a force in politics around Dallas and Texas for many years both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. While it is certain this will ruffle the feathers of many, there is no doubt he will be fair and a great choice.
Most recently, Tom was co-owner of DallasBlog.com where Rufus Shaw was a contributor.
