A Dallas Children’s Theater-trained student, neighborhood resident Caroline Horn, briefly appears in the new movie "Skateland" debuting Monday at Robert Redford’s Sundance Film Festival. Caroline is the daughter of Shawne Horn, a former Woodrow Wilson teacher who now works at Parkland in the development department. The film, about a 1983 East Texas roller skating rink and the issues of "coming of age", features all kinds of big hair and 1980s fashions.
