Just returned from voting. If my experience is any indication of today’s norm, those deciding who tomorrow’s leaders will be are the elderly. I saw six or seven people at my polling station (I was in and out of the parking lot in less than five minutes), and all but one of them had gray hair. One woman was moving at a glacial pace on her walker. Hell, if she can vote, I can’t see why more people half her age can’t. My precinct, incidentally, had just over 200 people voting as of about 12:30 p.m., and there was one supporter each of Sheffie, Jill and (the ironically named) Save the Trinity. The latter was reading a book while the others were chatting away at voters. I guess she’s ‘saving’ the Trinity between chapters.
