Visit Times Ten Cellars for “A Taste of Room to Read,” which will feature appetizers from all over the world and will benefit Room to Read, a nonprofit that works to improve literacy and gender equity in education in the developing world. Tickets are from $15-$25. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Stroll to Munger Place on Saturday from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and celebrate 113 years of history while noshing on hors d’oeuvres and wine from local East Dallas businesses. The second annual Munger Place Wine and Walk Tour will feature five unique, preserved and restored early 1900s residences. Proceeds benefit the Munger Historic District Association, Lipscomb Elementary PTA, and the Boys and Girls Club of Dallas. Tickets range from $25-$60 and need to be purchased online by this Thursday.

Stonewall Jackson Elementary (soon to be Mockingbird Elementary) will have its annual auction this Friday at The House of Blues. “Stonewallpalooza” tickets are $100 at the door and benefit the East Dallas elementary school. The event starts at 6 p.m. and includes performances from School of Rock, Whiskey Pants, a raffle, live auction and an after party in the Cambridge Room at House of Blues.

Granada Theater will host Forgotten Space, a Dallas Grateful Dead tribute band on Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. with Electrik Ants. Tickets range from $18-$40.

The Bathhouse Cultural Center will feature “Cell,” a play by Cassandra Medley about women working in an immigration detainment center and struggling with inner and outer demons. Shows are Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15.
