Earlier I linked to a opinion piece about parents pushing for public vs. private schools. Here’s a little more on that concept. Some Preston Hollow or North Dallas residents are pretty peeved that homeowners – especially those in affluent neighborhoods – could see a significant tax increase (if you call $600 on a $1.2 million property significant) if the proposed DISD 2008 bond election is approved. I wonder if any East Dallas homeowners share this pain … or if they think these folks are just acting a bit bratty.
