A new optometry clinic, Modern Spectacle Eyecare, is slated to open in mid-April near the Lakewood Shopping Center. The visionary care facility specializes in eye health services and eyewear retail.
Located at 6336 Gaston Ave., Modern Spectacle Eyecare offers comprehensive services for optimal vision health. Services include eye exams, annual check-ups, diabetic eye exams and medical assessments for conditions like cataracts and glaucoma. Additional care for red eyes, contact lens fittings, pediatric eye exams and myopia control services will be available.
“Our passion at Modern Spectacle Eye Care is to provide the best possible vision and eye care to our patients in a sophisticated and welcoming environment,” the company’s mission statement reads. “We are excited to care for the families of our vibrant Lakewood community.”
The optometry clinic boasts a variety of 10 luxury brands in its eyewear collection; this includes designs from Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Etnia Barcelona and Modo eyewear.
