M. K. T., a store offering clothing, accessories and home goods from several vendors and local artists, is expanding to East Dallas.
The store is based in the West Village in Uptown and is opening a new location in Lowest Greenville, at the corner of Greenville Avenue and Oram Street, next to 2nd Street.
M. K. T. will occupy a 4,200-square-foot space, owner Stephen Swetish said.
Construction is underway inside the building, which used to house Kathy Fielder. We’ll update this story with an opening date when we learn what it is.
Common Desk was eyeing the building in the 2000 block of Greenville Avenue a few years ago, but the coworking firm ended up not opening a location there.
M. K. T. opened on McKinney Avenue in 2020 as a co-op with 12 vendors, Channel 4 reported at the time.
