Authorities found a man with a gunshot wound to the head Wednesday night after he fled the scene of an accident in Old East Dallas.
Witnesses told police the man had run away from a car accident in the 5300 block of East Mockingbird Lane, according to the Dallas Morning News. Police later discovered him in a parking garage around 11:30 p.m.
Channel 11, the CBS affiliate, reported that officers found a gun inside the vehicle he was driving.
The man was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas in unknown condition.
