Low-cost vaccinations await you and your pet at the Lakewood Branch Library this weekend.

A Mobile Wellness Clinic from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will provide the vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The services and products offered include low-cost vaccines, such as bordetella and rabies, as well as flea, tick and heartworm prevention.

Vaccines range from $10-$15, and you can get your dog or cat microchipped for $10.

The SPCA of Texas launched the program in May 2019 to deliver affordable and accessible veterinary services to pet owners who may not be able to care for their pets.
