The school has raised $800 for Lutheran Church Charities’ K-9 Comfort Dog ministry at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. The money raised will bring therapeutic dogs that help bring calm energy and smiles to people following a disaster, natural or manmade.

Two of the pups, Pax and Phoebe, visited the school in September, just before being put into action to comfort the victims and their families after the Mandalay Bay shooting in Las Vegas.
