After the Dallas Marathon, enjoy some festive sights right in our neighborhood.
Festive golf carts will be parading through Lakewood this weekend.
Participants will gather at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Meadow Lake and Wendover, and photos with Santa and voting will happen at 5 p.m. Prizes for the best decorated carts were donated by local restaurants including Taco Joint, TCBY, Hillside Tavern and Hudson House.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m.
Event organizers Todd and Sara Krumholz, Corey Martindale and Jessi Cleary are inviting neighbors to join in by standing along the parade route and cheering on the golf carts as pass by.
