A teacher at Lakehill Preparatory School died in a car accident that happened Tuesday afternoon on Ferguson Road.
The teacher, Mark Guerra, 43, taught theater at the school.
Guerra was driving in the left lane of Ferguson Road near N. Buckner Boulevard. A 77-year-old woman was driving in the same direction in the middle lane when she clipped the right side of Guerra’s car. That caused him to crash into a light pole, Fox 4 reported.
Police have not determined what caused the woman to drift into Guerra’s lane, and no charges have been filed.
Guerra had been a teacher at Lakehill seven years.
