Teaching is often called a thankless job, but East Dallasites have the chance to change that by showing gratitude for the neighborhood’s best educators. The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking nominations for their annual Teacher of the Year award.
A total of six awards will be presented to both public and private school teachers during a celebratory event on Tuesday, Nov. 15. But nominations must be made by Oct. 20 for your favorite teacher to be considered.
