HG Sply Co., the popular neighborhood restaurant and bar from UNCO Restaurant Group, is expanding to Fort Worth in the Alliance Town Center. The modern 8,000 square foot two-story restaurant is slated to open before Spring this year.
The new restaurant will offer seating for 220 inside, an open kitchen, a second-floor bar and expansive multi-level covered patio with seating for 108 outside.
“Ten years ago, I was in the kitchen of HG Dallas, slinging sweet potato hash while my eight-year-old daughter was seating SMU students at brunch on Saturdays. Now we are looking to bring HG Sply Co. to a fourth community in DFW and Haley is a freshman at SMU,” Founder Elias Pope said in a statement. “We’ve learned how subjective ‘food that fuels your day’ can be and have evolved to better understand ingredients that our passionate regulars crave.”
The Alliance location is an opportunity for loyal supporters and those in the community alike to invest in the restaurant and join the UNCO Founders Club.
“HG prides itself on being a neighborhood restaurant. Each of the three communities we serve has shown us tremendous support over the years and are the reason for our continued success,” Co-CEO Sameer Patel said in a statement. “We have chosen to offer crowdfunding as a way to allow our community to financially participate in the success they are driving and through this we established the UNCO Founders Club. It’s the first loyalty program that makes you money.”
The investment starts at a $500 minimum with any investment offering membership in the new investor-only UNCO Founders Club, a loyalty program only available to private investors.
Founders will receive an immediate dining credit equal to 10% of their investment and points each time they dine at an UNCO concept, essentially yielding a 10% discount for life. They are also invited to investor-only parties (including one for HG Alliance) and can secure tiered perks such as free queso for life or an entire bar named after them.
Additionally, the first 50 Founders who invest $5,000 or more will eat for free at any HG Sply Co. for the rest of the year.
