Screen Shot 2013-10-14 at 4.54.08 AMSince 1972, The Grape Restaurant on Greenville Avenue has become an East Dallas staple. Chef and owner Brian C. Luscher and his wife Courtney are celebrating the 41st anniversary of the restaurant from Oct. 23-26 with four evenings of special events.

First, the Grape’s monthly Chef’s Come-As-You-Are wine dinner showcases “Wines from Argentina” on Wed., Oct. 23. Chef de Cuisine Danyele McPherson will feature a three-course tasting menu to highlight the hand-selected Argentinean wines for the evening. Plus, guest host is Mark Luft with Bottled Poetry. The cost is $48 per person.

Second, Courtney Luscher and Ali Morgan from Scardello Artisan Cheese will host the Grape’s popular monthly “Wine and Cheese Chat” on Thurs., Oct 24, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The monthly cheese chat showcases four cheeses paired with four wines. The cost is $28 Person. Space is limited.

Then, wrapping up the week, on Friday and Saturday Chef McPherson will feature a special anniversary tasting menu for the occasion. A three-course tasting menu for $41 per person with an optional wine pairing upgrade.

The a la carte menu is also available nightly and reservations are recommended. Prices are exclusive of tax, gratuity and beverages. The Grape is located at 2808 Greenville Avenue.
