Was out this morning doing some holiday wine reconnoitering, and discovered that the 7-Eleven at Skillman and Southwestern and the QwikTrip just up Skillman had regular unleaded for less than $3 a gallon — $2.979 at the 7-Eleven and $2.969 at the QwikTrip. They’re likely matching prices with the Sam’s Club at Timbercreek, but I couldn’t see that price from the street.
And, in the finest tradition of gasoline pricing, the three gas stations a block away at Northwest Highway and Abrams each had gas for about a dime a gallon more.
