Porch light out? Dallas police today warn us to not leave it for the weekend.
According to an alert, “Residents should check the light to make sure it was not unscrewed. Suspects are unscrewing porch or landscape lights, and if they see that the light has not been changed, they assume the owner is not home and that is when they hit.”
Police ask for diligence in being aware of neighbors’ lights and alerting 9-1-1 if you see anyone tampering with lights in the neighborhood.
