Last week we broke the news that Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Lakewood planned to close its doors on Sunday, July 26. We were told Fuzzy’s hoped to move to another location in the immediate area. On Friday, Fuzzy’s confirmed its plan via Facebook: It will be opening “another nearby location,” although the post doesn’t specify where or when — just that we need to “stay tuned for details.”

As we mentioned last week, the Dallas-based restaurant Dream Cafe has already signed a lease and will begin remodeling Fuzzy’s old space, which will include a secure children’s play area, first thing in August. The goal is to finish with construction and begin serving breakfast, lunch and dinner sometime in November. Read more.
