On Sept. 10, Frost Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas met at the Frost Bank location on Live Oak to present a $500,000 Affordable Housing Program grant to LifeNet Texas, a nonprofit located at 9708 Skillman that has been serving the Dallas community for more than 36 years.

The AHP grant will be used to replace the aging heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit at Prince of Wales, a housing community that serves homeless residents in Dallas.

LifeNet is a one-stop-shop for homeless in Dallas, helping them get back on their feet and lead productive lives, according to a press release. It offers in-house supportive services such as meal programs, clothing, housing, mental and behavioral healthcare, addiction rehabilitation, childcare, educational programs and job training.
