Back Talk reader and East Dallas Children’s Music founder Cathy Mathia needs students to participate in Musikgarten Teacher Training Workshops at Wilshire Baptist July 12-29. This is a super opportunity for infants through 6 year olds to get free music classes. Here’s the schedule:
Family Music for Babies (Infants – 13 months with parent or caregiver)
Monday, July 12, 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Family Music for Toddlers (18 months – 3 years with parent or caregiver)
Tuesday, July 13, 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Cycle of Seasons (3 – 5 years with parent or caregiver)
Wednesday and Thursday, July 14 – 15, 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.
Music Makers at Home/Around the World (4 ½ – 6 years old; parent/caregiver join the class at 11:20)
Monday through Thursday, July 26 – 29, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
The workshops will be held at Wilshire Baptist Church, 4316 Abrams Rd. Please note that you will need to arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of each class. A grown-up will need to attend and participate in classes with the child/children in Babies, Toddlers and Cycles classes. Please, no younger or older siblings in these classes, unless they have not yet started crawling.
