Cotton candy macarons at Edith’s Pâtisserie Boulangerie.

We’ve got a new place to indulge our sweet tooth (and get $3 mimosas) now that the oh-so French Edith’s Pâtisserie Boulangerie is open at Mockingbird Station. If you’ve ever dawdled in a Parisian café, you’ll get the idea. It’s part café, with a full menu of European delights for breakfast (rather petit déjeuner), lunch and dinner. It’s also part bakery (a.k.a. boulangerie) serving up fresh macarons, croissants and customized cakes. Plus, it’s dog friendly so feel free to bring fido. Breakfasts of crepes and popovers with fried chicken run from $9-$12, while lunches and dinners of croque monsieur or salmon tartine will set you back $10-$15. The store marked its grand opening on Tuesday. If you like your feed filled with pretty food photos, follow them on Facebook.

While we don’t know the opening date, CultureMap tells us we can expect dumplings with a twist where Good 2 Go Taco once stood (1146 Peavy). According to the article, Hello Dumpling will bring 8-10 flavors of the stuffed Chinese favorite, along with an attached tea salon where Cultivar Coffee used to operate.
