Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) Station 48 is relocating several of its emergency response resources due to a required asbestos abatement. The repairs are expected to be completed in about six weeks.
Station 48 personnel and equipment will be relocated to the following locations during that time:
Engine 48 will be responding from Fire Station 29.
SFP Rescue 73 will be responding from Fire Station 57.
Boat 48 will be placed out of service. White Rock Lake will receive boat response coverage from Boat 31.
DFR will be monitoring emergency responses in Station 48’s area of coverage and will make changes to service delivery if they find it necessary.
