The Exchange Club of East Dallas and Comerica Bank collected 2,400 coats for kids ages 4 and older in our neighborhood through their annual Coats for Kids drive.
Comerica and the Exchange Club each donated 2,000 coats, and 400 coats came from the community via collection boxes.
The drive brought in 400 more coats this year than in 2010, and kids at 12 neighborhood elementary schools received free coats.
