The musician is set to perform at the 2021 Riverfront Jazz Festival. She’ll be at City Hall Plaza on Sept. 3. Badu’s set begins at 9 p.m. on the opening night of the festival.

This is the fourth iteration of the festival, which features a range of music artists from around the world. Attendees will experience jazz, blues, R&B, soul, pop and neo-soul music, and there will also be a showcase stage for up-and-coming artists from D-FW schools and music programs.

Visitors will have the chance to shop at vendor booths and enjoy diverse food.

Badu is one of three honorary chairs this year, along with Antonio Fargas and Ted Lange. Our neighbor is full of hidden talents, including delivering babies.

Tickets start at $59 and can be purchased here.

Badu will be performing across the country in September and October, and she’s making a stop in Austin for the Austin City Limits music festival. Find a full list of her concerts here.
